Anthony Gibbons - We carefully picked the following costume to fit his identity, old hoody, rugged and riped jeans and dirty trainers made his appearance not a typical teenage well groomed lad, clashing with the stereotype of our generation
David Norbury - We decided to use a School Uniform for David to show he's still in school representing he's a teenager and he was a former class mate of the murderer.

Venue's for Film Trailer
We thought this ally way was a good place for the bully's to beat up the soon to be murderer as it was very narrow and the uneven pavement gave us a nice uneven angle to make the scene more interesting.
We used this alley way for the murderer to shoot one of his victim's, this was a good place due to it being a dark creepy alley.
We used this scene for the escapee to get away in his car, this road was good due to it being a fairly quiet area meaning we could speed down the road.
This was the house we used for when a victim receives a phone call warning him about the murderer, we used this house due to the availability at the time and to give realism to the trailer as it's just a typical house.
This was a good place to do a murder scene due to the deprived look the area had, it again shows realism and gives the murder scene a more scarier feel to it.
We used this school as it was local and relevant to the story being the victim and bully's attend the school. It was also used the news report.
This was the house we used for the escapee and victim meeting for the first time, it was also used for when the victim stares through the window at the escapee when he was reading the paper. We used this house as it was the only availability at the time.

Insane - Props
These are the main props we used in our trailer "Insane"
Gun - This was used by the main character in the trailer which was the Murderer, the toy gun worked well as a realistic weapon used in numerous of scenes.
Knife - This was used for a potential victim trying to protect himself if he comes across any danger, although the knife was real we used plenty of percussions to ensure the safety of the actor.
Car - This was used for the final scene in the trailer for the escapee to get away from the murderer.
Newspaper - The newspaper was used for the escapee, we thought it would be a good idea for the character to be reading a newspaper in his home to make it realistic.
Phone - A phone was used in a few scene's, this was to represent our generation's popularity on mobile phones to communicate to others.

Soundtrack for Film Trailer
This is the soundtrack we used for our film trailer, my group wanted a song that would fit in well with our trailer perfectly to give a more professional look and leave the audience drawn in with the trailer and music, We decided to use Evanescense - Bring me to life. We decided to use this song in an instrumental to give a more chilling feel to the movie, there was also a part of the song that the music stops for a few seconds which fell in perfectly with a scene in our trailer which emphasises the dialogue of an actor really well. The feedback from our classmates to this song has been very good which we are happy with as they are apart of the audience to our trailer so we know straight away a part of the trailer our audience like.

Film Trailer Questionnaire
I have decided to create a questionnaire to help me gain a better understanding of what audiences perception on Movies specifically the genre, i would appreciate if you could answer a few questions here, thanks.
Saw Poster Analysis
Above is a film poster for the movie "Saw" which is the same genre as the trailer we will create, i choose this specific poster due to the fact that it was for the first of many Saw movies so a lot of the audience didn't really know the concept of the poster or the movie. The poster is very basic compared to most film poster but still has a lot of features to catch the audiences attention and remains relevant to the horror genre. The background being black works well with the features on the poster as it makes it stand out while the colour is giving a representation off death which goes well with the theme of the movie which is about hostages doing sadistic thing's to themselves to survive. The picture is a women who seems to see very distressed with some sort of machine attached to her heads with blades and sharp objects, this gives a hint of what type of movie this might be. A line at the top of the page is very important to the poster which doesn't give a lot away to it's audience, it read's "How much blood will you shed to stay alive". This is a very chilling but an effective line as it gives an idea to the audience that it's a horror movie, the line leaves a question for the audience and keeps them compelled to what this means. If i hadn't seen this movie it would certainly leave me wanting to know what people would do to stay alive in this movie and keep me very interested. The line is in white which obviously stands out very much in the black background. Near the bottom is the name of the movie which is bold and in red, it stands out in the colour of the background really well and also represents danger and blood, again in theme of the genre and story of the movie. Below the title is a caption saying "Every puzzle has it's pieces", this let's the audience know that maybe it's just one movie from many. Above the name of the movie is 3 of the main actors in the movie which is important to show the movie will be good because these big actors are in it. It will also appeal to fans of the actors. The poster is not the best i have seen but it is still effective and works well to link in with the movie.
This is a 2nd poster of the "Saw" movie, as you can see it is very different to the 1st poster we seen above, this gives the movie a bit of diverse and gives the audience another idea of what the movie will be like. The poster focuses on a hand with blood and scratches on which seems from someone who has just died or is very much hurt on the floor. The floor's cracks are filled with what looks like blood and dirt which could show that this room is familiar to injured/dead people. The picture is chilling and will definitely appeal to horror fans. Below the hand is the name of the movie "Saw" which is quite bold but stands out really well with the white background. The colour of the title is black and red which again represents the colours of blood, death, danger working well with the genre of the film. Around the title are slashes giving an idea that the film is violent and weapons are involved. I prefer the 2nd poster to the 1st as even though both are effective in there own ways, the 2nd poster seems more chilling and represents a horror movie really well. Both have giving me a better understanding of film posters and will help me creating mine.

Saw Trailer Analysis
I have decided to analyse the horror movie "Saw", it's the same genre as our movie trailer and will give us a lot of knowledge on what the stereotypical horror trailers have. Saw had a lot of quick cuts which is a stereotype of a lot of horror trailers, this add suspense and excitement to the audience.

Genre
We have decided to base our trailer on the genre "Horror/Drama", we all had some creative idea's for this genre and thought with the idea's we had come across we could produce a quality trailer. We researched a lot into the drama and horror film and trailers and anaylised a lot of film posters to get a better insight for our trailer and film front cover magazine and poster.

Anaylsis of Inception Posters
Above are two established Magazine front covers featuring Inception, both focus on the main character Leonardo DiCaprio as the centre point aswell as focusing on the movie itself. Both set their layout of the cover in an inception theme and everything that has nothing to do with the movie is still incorporated with the theme as the 1st picture shows, the features in the magazine follow the theme of the front cover. Total Film use the title as the architecture of the film which i think makes the cover so good, it does however take some of the focus of the character where as Empire focuses more on DiCaprio
Above are the various posters for the movie inception, as you can see they are quite similar and have a similar layout continuing throughout the posters. The three posters all follow a comparable theme for example, there is a blend of blue in all the posters and each has a bizarre scenery which is relevant to the movie. This will grab the attention of the audience and will make them interested in the movie with these unusual posters. The main character in the film, Leonardo Dicaprio is the main focus in all the three posters aswell as his name appearing at the top of each poster, this lets the audience aware of the main actors in the movie. In all 3 of the posters a gun is featured in the hand of an actor weather it's Dicaprio or another character, this gives off a feeling to the audience that there may be a lot of action in the movie. All 3 of the posters have the title of the film "Inception" near the bottom of the page and in the colour red, the main actor in the film is always at the top too in a bolder font from the rest of the writing on the posters. Their is also a tagline in each of the posters saying "Your mind is the scene of the crime" this gives a suspense to the film aswell as as leaving the audience puzzled to what this could mean.

Inception Trailers
This is the teaser trailer for Inception, although it focuses on the architecture and Leonardo Dicaprio for most of the trailer, it doesn't give too much away and only shows one or two action scenes. It's hard to give it a specific genre. Due to it being a teaser trailer their are a lot of quick cuts and suspense to attract audiences to wanting more which i think the trailer definitely achieved.
This is the offical trailer and focuses more on the architecture and Leonardo Dicaprio than what the teaser trailer did, it also focuses on more of the actors in the film such as Michael Caine, Marion Cotillard and Ellen Page. It also shows enough footage to maybe give the movie a genre, when i first viewed the trailer i would of gave it an Action/Adventure. It shows much more action scenes in trailer 2 and gives off more of the story to give audiences an idea of what the movie is about. Both of the trailers focus on Christopher Nolan directing Inception and have Dicaprio narrating the start of the trailer. The 2nd trailer also focuses on Nolan directing the Dark Knight, this was used to the movie being such a huge success a lot of people will want to see Inception if it's directed by the same person.

Trailers
Here is one of many inception trailers, trailers are a huge part of the advertisement process that films go through. This is the 2nd inception trailer warner bros brought out aswell as teaser trailers. Trailers main purpose is to let the audience know about the film and to get them excited it also lets the audience know, when it's coming out and the main actors in the movie. The trailer has a lot of quick cuts, this is to make the film look much more exciting. You can normally tell from successful trailers what the genre is, judging by the inception trailer it's a Action/Thriller.
